Two goals in the final 15 minutes helped Stirling Macedonia defeat Swan United 3-2 and maintain control of the Men’s State League Division One title race.
That win, coupled with the 1-1 draw between Western Knights and Quinns in the second-versus-meeting at Nash Field, means Stirling sit six points clear of the rest having won seven straight games.
Gavin Knight continued his tremendous scoring form when he bagged the opener from the penalty spot early on, but Swan drew level on 21 minutes when John Monterosso also converted when presented with an opportunity from 12 yards.
Stirling were held until the final quarter of an hour when Davies brilliantly glanced Dhours Chols' cross into the far corner and then Alex Tanevski followed in from Davies' piledriver to add a third.
Monterosso set up a grandstand finish with his sixth of the season soon after, but Ian Ferguson's side kept their composure to win their eighth game this campaign.

Elsewhere, Ciaran Byrne scored a 95th minute equaliser to rescue a point for Western Knights against Quinns.
