Football West has three teams going for grand final glory at the 2026 Mitre National Futsal Championships on Saturday.

The WA Boys U12s, U14s and U15s are all looking to become national champions at the Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre in Queensland.

Overall, a mammoth 533 goals were scored across 79 matches, with Football West topping the day with a 67% win rate.

The U12s booked their spot in the decider with a great 4-2 semi-final win over Queensland Maroon. They will take on the host federation’s other side, Queensland White, in the final.

The U14s began the day with an 11-2 thrashing of Northern NSW in the quarter-finals, then backed it up by edging NSW Thunder 2-1. They will meet Queensland Maroon in Saturday’s decider.

And the U15s showed their quality by beating Capital Football 6-0 in the last eight, then seeing off Queensland 2-0. They face NSW Metro in the final.

The WA Boys U13s and U16s made it to the last four. The U13s were 6-1 winners over Queensland Silver, before losing 5-4 to Capital in the semis. Meanwhile the U16s beat Northern NSW 3-1, before succumbing to NSW Thunder 4-0.

The WA Girls U13s and U15s both went out in the quarter-finals, while the WA Girls U17s finished off the week with a 3-0 pool win over Tasmania.
