UWA to face Phoenix in Women's State League final

UWA Nedlands and South West Phoenix will meet in the final of the Women's State League Night Series at Macedonia Park this Sunday.

The game will be the first part of a double-header, with the NPL Women's Night Series decider between Balcatta and Murdoch University Melville to follow.

Helene Williams scored a hat-trick for UWA as they defeated Perth AFC 6-3 in their semi-final at Ellenbrook Sports Hub on Saturday night. Brigitte Morgan got two and Monique Saunders the other for Lawrence Lewis' side.

Perth AFC were game throughout and their goals came from Angela Cheaib (2) and Daisy Spill.

In the other semi-final, South West Phoenix beat ECU Joondalup 3-0. Lucy Scott (2) and and Savannah Olsthoorn were the scorers.
