UWA, Hamersley lead way in Hyundai Women's League

UWA Nedlands and Hamersley both have maximum points after the first three rounds of the Hyundai Women's League Division One competition.

UWA are top on goal difference after their 7-0 stroll against Armadale at Alfred Skeet Reserve on Sunday. Charlotte Swan (2), Ashley Harling (2), Serena Lin, Emma Gibson and Rebecca Saccoccio were the scorers.

Hamersley were also convincing as they got past Subiaco 4-0. Christiane Astorp scored twice, with Jemma Flis and Nadia Harvey also on target.

Port Kennedy are third after their 5-2 defeat of Mandurah City, while Perth AFC sit fourth thanks to Aaliyah Jorquera's stoppage-time goal which gave them a 1-0 win over Sorrento.
