Football West teams delivered on a collective goalfest on Day Two of the Mitre National Futsal Championships in Queensland.

The WA State Boys U12s were at the forefront as they recorded two big wins to consolidate their second position in Pool B, just two points off hosts Queensland. They beat Capital Football 8-2 before dominating NSW Country 10-1.

Also unbeaten and among the goals at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre were the WA State Boys U13s, who put 10 Northern NSW without reply. They are also second in their pool, behind Queensland on goal difference only.

It was a similar tale for the WA Boys U14s, who brushed aside Capital Football 8-0 to go top of Pool B.

The WA Boys U15s remain undefeated after a hard-fought 2-2 draw against NSW Metro. Both sides have four points from two games to sit above third-place Tasmania.

There was disappointment for the WA Boys U16s who were unlucky to lose 3-2 against Queensland but they remain second in Pool B.

The WA Girls U13s made a great start to their campaign today, drawing 2-2 against NSW Country before defeating NSW Storm 2-1.

The WA Women were involved in one of the games of the day, narrowly missing out against Victoria 5-4, while the WA Girls U17s were beaten 2-0 by Queensland.

Day Three is on Thursday, with selected matches to be livestreamed on the Football Australia YouTube page.
