Wanted: Gold Fields Men's State Amateur Team Head Coach

Football West is seeking a Head Coach for the Gold Fields Men's State Amateur Team. 

Role overview

We are looking for a passionate Head Coach for our Gold Fields Men's State Amateur Team for a three-match tour of Malaysia in November. The successful candidate will be responsible for team management and selection, training, and aiming to achieve outstanding performance throughout the tour.

Key responsibilities

• Attend Belt Up Amateur fixtures during the season
• Attend the trial process for team selection
• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored for the state tour
• Plan and execute effective game strategies for tour matches
• Conduct regular training sessions
• Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback and individualised training plans
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Ensure adherence to all Football West policies and regulations

Requirements

• Understanding and knowledge of the current Belt Up Amateur competition
• Previous experience coaching at a competitive amateur or professional level.
• Desired to have an AFC/FA B coaching diploma
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches, officials, and stakeholders

Desirable attributes

• Experience coaching in a multicultural environment
• Demonstrated success in previous coaching roles, particularly at the amateur level
• Experience managing teams during tours or competitions
