Olivia Wood produced a moment of magic to give Perth RedStar a 1-0 win over big rivals Perth SC in today's NPLWA - Women's Top Four Cup final at the Sam Kerr Football Centre.

Wood scored the only goal just before the half-hour as she skipped through challenges from Georgia Cassidy and Baxter Thew before cracking an unstoppable shot beyond Azzurri keeper Stacey Cavill.

The result gave RedStar revenge for their Hyundai Women's State Cup final loss to Perth SC a fortnight ago and ensured Carlos Vega Mena's side added the Top Four Cup to the league title and Night Series.

It was another great game with little to choose between the two best sides in the division.

RedStar went close to adding a second on 73 minutes as Jayna Ridley hit the bar from outside the box.

Then in stoppage time, Azzurri forward Ella Lincoln had a great chance to send the game to extra-time but she miscontrolled and RedStar keeper Gabby Dal Busco saved bravely at her feet.

RedStar defender Mischa Anderson was named Player of the Match.

Earlier in the day, Hyundai NTC came from behind to beat RedStar 3-1 in the NPLWA - Women's U21 Top Four Cup final.

Lillia Pollard pur RedStar in front early in the second half. Cate Mcauliffe levelled from the penalty spot 10 minutes later, then with the game heading to penalties NTC struck twice in two minutes. First Lacey Heys headed home, then Shenae Rebelo followed in to score after Heys' free-kick had been pushed on to the bar.
