Part two of the Belt Up cup finals provided more drama at the Sam Kerr Football Centre on Sunday.
The first of four games was the Belt Up Metropolitan League Cup final between Premier Division rivals UWA Nedlands and Perth Saints.

It was Saints who struck first through Levi Reichelt, who slid in to finish after UWA lost possession playing out. Uni levelled right on half-time after Bryce Conway’s effort from outside the box deflected off the unlucky Nathan Findlater and left Saints keeper Peter Wile with no chance.
BELT UP CUP FINALS WRAP - PART I
That was the end of the scoring, so with the game finishing 1-1 it went to a penalty shoot-out. The first nine spot-kicks were all scored before Nedlands keeper Benjamin Stone saved from Luke Findlater to give UWA the cup.
Next up was the Belt Up Masters Over 55s Cup final as FC Shoalwater took on Murdoch University Melville.
MUM FC went ahead on 12 minutes as Ezio Celenza collected a great return pass from Paul Ellis before shooting past Shoalwater keeper Steven Robinson.

And it was Celenza who wrapped up the 2-0 win late on with a smart back-heel in front of goal.
Joondalup City won the Belt Up Masters Over 45s Cup as they overcame Forrestfield United 4-1.
The win was largely thanks to a hat-trick from Felim Rugel, who swept in the opener after 13 minutes. United equalised not long after as Allan Paul toe-poked home from close range, before City snatched back control of the match before the interval.

A foul on Pranam Patel earned Joondalup a penalty which Rugel converted, and he brought up his treble in style early in the second period with a shot from the edge of the box. A strong tackle, run and finish by Phil Green completed City’s win.
Finally, there was late penalty drama in the Belt Up Masters Over 35s Cup final as Quinns defeated East Perth 2-1.
Stephen Henry’s speculative effort caught out Quinns keeper Wayne Cooke to put East Perth ahead, with Quinns on terms shortly before half-time as Eamon McNelis scored at the second attempt.

The winning goal came a minute from time when East Perth’s Ruaidhri McGill handled and Kevin Wyatt fired home the resulting penalty low into the bottom corner.
