Queens Park Soccer Club are Football West's Club Changer Club of the Month for October.
Founded in 1931, Queens Park Soccer Club remain a leader in community inclusion, respect and positive behaviour across all levels of the game.
With players and families representing a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds, the club takes great pride in creating a diverse environment while promoting shared values of respect, teamwork and integrity.
Committee members help foster strong relationships with players and parents by regularly attending training sessions and maintaining a clear understanding of the club environment. Behavioural standards are outlined in club policies. These are distributed at the start of each season and have been well received.
The club has already focused on next season, appointing responsible managers and focusing on education around respect and behaviour both on and off the field.
Club president Eve Watts said: "Queens Park Soccer Club is honoured to be recognised by Football West for Club Changer of the Month following the achievement of our second star in the Football Australia Club Changer program. This reflects our unwavering commitment to child protection and safeguarding every young person who plays, trains, and grows within our club.
“We believe that true success is measured not only by results on the pitch, but by the positive and protective environment in which those results are achieved.
“This milestone is a proud moment for our club, and we remain dedicated to building both competitive excellence and a culture of care that sets the standard for football in Western Australia."
