Driving Participation Across Our State
Regional football plays a vital role in the growth and strength of the game across Western Australia, with around a quarter of player registrations coming from outside the metropolitan area.
Football West supports regional football through Community Participation Officers working across the Leeuwin Naturaliste, Great Southern, Goldfields, Mid West Gascoyne, Pilbara and Kimberley regions, alongside a dedicated Female Football Development Officer based in Bunbury. These roles focus on delivering programs, supporting clubs and associations, and helping create development opportunities for players across regional WA.
Community Participation Officers work closely with local associations and communities to deliver participation programs and support the development of young players. They also act as a key point of contact for regional football matters.
