Frequently Asked Questions

There are two coach education pathways: Community and Advanced. Use the pathway overview to choose the right starting point, then register via the current course listing.

Requirements depend on the role and level you are coaching (varies), and course prerequisites are listed per intake. Check the current course listing and confirm prerequisites before you register.

Many courses use a blend of face-to-face sessions and online learning through the Football Australia Learning Centre. Check the course listing for the format before enrolling.

Access is tied to having an active coach registration and following the onboarding steps into the Learning Centre. If you can’t access your course, use PlayFootball Support or the course support contact.

CPD is measured in hours, not points, and you need 15 hours over a three-year cycle to maintain accreditation. Check the CPD Hub for current rules and record your learning activities.
