Football West has opened registrations for its latest Football Schools holiday programs – with an early bird offer of just $250.
The Football Schools are three-day camps for players aged 7–15. They consist of three on-field sessions – technical development, tactical preparation and small-sided games – as well as a look at wider game preparation such as goal setting, nutrition and rest and recovery.
There will be two Football Schools during the upcoming September-October school holidays, both at the Sam Kerr Football Centre in Queens Park.
The first is a mixed boys and girls school, led by Football West Community Participation Officer Mathew Adams. This will take place from Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 September.
The second is a girls-only school from Monday 5 to Wednesday 7 October. This will be taken by Football West’s former Perth Glory A-League pair Sarah Carroll and Izzy Foletta.
Both schools run from 9am-3pm for the three days.
